The musical theatre classes, unfortunately, have too many girls in them, so I've swapped over to straight drama. Every Friday night. =D
Last time was a lovely geek-fest, wherein Colin made us to three 'freeze-frame' things... as freeze-framed on a tape-player, so jerky back-and-forth movements were allowed. He introduced me to Sam, who is lovely.
We were told to base our freeze-frames on a historical event, a famous film, and something about someone in the group.
Historical event: The Battle of Marathon. Slow motion running!
Famous film: Shrek. (My knees still hurt from that one, but it was fun)
Something about someone in the group: Sam getting whammed in the face during the Disney Showcase. (Colin told us that his face broke the wooden sword, how silly. XD)
I'm really looking forward to next time. ^^ Also, if anyone knows any decent one-act plays, could you please tell me?
On a final note, the greatest warm-up of all time is finger fencing. Just sayin'.
